hi,

my laptop system type is a 64-bit operating system.
When I try to create a virtual machine using QIIME Virtual Box, there is no “Ubuntu (64-bit)” option available for me to select under “Version”. There is only the 32-bit option. I have already selected “Linux”.

I understand Ubuntu (64-bit) is required to run QIIME.

Please assist me.

Just want to make sure we are on the same page. Are you following these installation instructions? Please make sure you are installing the correct version of virtual box. Perhaps you could share a screenshot (similar to those in the instructions) to indicate the problem?
