Demultiplexed sequence summary

Hello everyone! I'm new to the use of QIIME2 and I would like to ask a probably very basic question.
How do you interpret this output after I joined my paired end reads?
Does this mean that, for example, the 98% of my joined paired-end reads are shorter than 467 nts?
Thanks a lot!

Hello Matteo,

Welcome to the forums! :qiime2:

That's right! These are the percentiles of the distribution of read lengths.

This image shows the percentiles of a normal distribution (just as an example. Your read lengths after joining might follow another distribution)

Thank you so much Colin!
