CSV file of taxonomy barplot qzv file

Dear Friends,

I am looking to draw histogram plot of the relative abundance of bacterias in my 10 samples. I have the taxonomy barplot qzv file and I can download the CSV file from it. Can you please tell me what are the values in this CSV file mean? Thanks

Hi @danielsebas,

The rows are your samples. The columns are your taxonomy (likely labeled with a letter prefix depending on the level you’re working at (for instance, class Bacillus might be c__Bacillus), and then your sample metadata.

Justine

Thanks @jwdebelius, What do the numbers mean for each sample ? Do those numbers mean relative abundance of that bacteria in samples?

Hi @danielsebas,

What I’m seeing is absolute counts, so that would be my guess.

Justine
