Hello,
I wanna convert table.qza to biom format (input file for picrust). I tried to surf in internet but couldn't get the exact clear idea. Could you please give me any suggestions or script that is used for this conversion.
your help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Pratima,

Great question! Here is how to export data from a Qiime 2 artifact:

If you want to make an OTU table for picrust, this tutorial is really helpful:

> [@How to create a feature table with qiime2 for PICRUST with the taxonomic assignment?](https://forum.qiime2.org/t/how-to-create-a-feature-table-with-qiime2-for-picrust-with-the-taxonomic-assignment/2526/8):

> Hi @Jibda! Here are the general steps you should take to create a closed-reference feature table in QIIME 2 for use with PICRUSt: PICRUSt expects you to perform closed-reference OTU picking using the exact version of Greengenes that PICRUSt was trained against. There are ways to retrain PICRUSt using different reference databases, but that's outside the scope of what I can help you with here; see the [PICRUSt retraining docs](http://picrust.github.io/picrust/tutorials/genome_prediction.html#genome-prediction-tutorial) for details. Since PICRUSt was trained against Greengenes version 13…

If you follow those instructions, you should be good to go.

Colin
