can we separate the samples after denoising with DADA2

Hi,
Is it possible to separate the samples after denoising with DADA2?
I am interested in dividing samples into two data set after denoising.

Thanks

Hi!
Yes, sure, it is possible.
Here is the link to the filtering tutorial: Filtering data β€” QIIME 2 2021.2.0 documentation. I think you probably will be interested in Metadata-based filtering (Filtering data β€” QIIME 2 2021.2.0 documentation)
Just filter your original table two times to obtain two tables by desired condition using metadata.
You also can filter rep-seqs.qza by resulted tables.

Thanks, this was helpful.

Just a note, @khemlalnirmalkar - this question was already asked and answered for you here (Q & A). It’s easy to miss things during a good conversation, but please try not to repost questions that have already been answered. :slightly_smiling_face: Thanks!
