Bash: line 1: qiime: command not found

Hello,

I have been working on qiime2-2018.6. however, when I downloaded the newest version qiime2-2018.11, I get teh following message:

bash: line 1: qiime: command not found.

Please see attached screenshot. However, when I run the same commands in the earlier version 6, it works.
What can I do to fix this problem?

Hey there @rnasrah! Did you remember to activate your qiime 2 conda environment first, before launching jupyter notebook?

Thanks @thermokarst! I did activate my environment but that didn’t work.
I removed qiime 2 env and re-installed it and it worked!
