16s rDNA Taxonomy classifiers

Hello everyone, I am cofused when I analyzed my16s rDNA of soil sample, I was confused that whichTaxonomy classifiers should I choose, and the primer is 341F and 806R.
I have seen the tutorial of the qiime2, and there has many Taxonomy classifiers of 16s rRNA, but I don't know whether I can use them.

Hi @ChenJin,

You have a couple of options.

  1. You can simply use the full length SILVA classifier found here.
  2. You can use RESCRIPt plugin to make your own SILVA classifier as outlined here.
  3. Some forum members have already made and shared their own versions of the 341F-806R SILVA classifiers. If you trust those, you can likely make use of them.
